We have a lovely staff team that has been carefully selected to provide personal care, companionship calls and shopping calls to adults and older people in their own homes. A number of our clients are couples who need different types of care but within the same time slot. We offer privately funded care to local areas: Camberley, Mytchett, Ash, Ash Vale, Frimley, Frimley Green - all approx. 10 mins drive from the office. 99 per cent of all new clients are referrals from other people who have used our services. The manager holds a post graduate certificate in dementia studies from Stirling University which has helped the team gain a better idea of approaching and resolving problems.
Below are typical services we provide:
- Morning calls to support to administer medication, shower, flannel wash, undress / dress, continence care, foot soak, prepare breakfast, prepare lunch with clingfilm on top to snack on later, cup of tea etc.
- Afternoon / lunch calls to support with main meal, medication, continence care, providing fluids, light housework and anything else needed.
- Evening calls tend to focus on an evening meal followed by personal care, medication and getting ready for bed. It could also include ensuring the remote control is on the person's favourite tv programme.
Companionship calls can include being taken out somewhere such as a garden centre, collecting pension money, going to the canal centre in Mytchett for an icecream or tea with cake.
We can also accompany our clients to important events or hospital appointments.

Catto International Limited was founded in December 1998 and we are now in a position to grow our domiciliary sector. Catto Homecare is a division of Catto International Limited.
We have always set out to provide quality care hence the avoidance of 15 and 30 mins care visits. Our minimum care time is 45 minutes. Care is a very personal business and we treat people the way we would want to be treated.
What can Catto Homecare offer you?
We offer a holistic service to the individual. This may include a foot soak if showers are not taking place or a weekly plan of what the person would benefit from. Some clients enjoy having sandwiches made up and strategically placed in the fridge when a morning visit takes place. Other clients struggle with medication so we ensure drugs are administered by a member of staff.
Who preceded you?
Our clients are generated through word of mouth referrals or via their neighbours. Most of the feedback we receive is about the fact we almost never cancel care calls and that management also helps out with calls which makes a big difference to how the company is run.
Obviously, the foot soaks are very well received and this is probably our most praised and appreciated service :-)
